The mission of the Christian Education Ministry is to provide educational opportunities to help members become deeply devoted and obedient followers of Jesus and to use their gifts to build and bless others. The Christian Education Ministry vision is to do more than put together classes that merely educate the mind. We hope to have a program that touches the heart and encourages each member to “grow in relationship with Christ” and develop as active disciples for Him. The Christian Education Ministry serves to help orchestrate all of the learning opportunities in the life of our Church. Through the coordination of all venues of teaching, we remain focused and organized so that all efforts for Christian Education are maximized. Our desire is to be efficient as possible as we deliver learning opportunities to our congregation.

Prologue: Purpose and Theme

 ² for attaining wisdom and discipline; for understanding words of insight;

 ³ for acquiring a disciplined and prudent life, doing what is right and just and fair;

 ⁴ for giving prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the young-

 ⁵ let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance-

 ⁶ for understanding proverbs and parables,  the sayings and riddles of the wise.
